With Engineering we'd have understanding of all the tools and devices we'd need, Knowledge would give us professor-like knowledge of various related topics such as electronic engineering, programming and programming languages, the ins and outs of various security systems, and all that sort of stuff. Rather than using Truth That Burns to directly gain knowledge of Thanaton's plans directly, we could use a combination of Engineering, Knowledge, and Time to become a sort of super-hacker (or slicer IIRC that's the SW term?), and gather information from the computer systems of Thanaton and his subordinates. Well, one potential approach would be to try and use our Words somewhat indirectly.
